Greetings from Wisconsin (anyone else from WI?)

Hello all you wonderful peoples.

First, thank you to all the great members here in the community with all your helpful info and awesome trip reports, top 5 places to eat, ect... It's really fun to read and see all the pictures. I have been abusing the search engine ... that strange smell might be the server smoking.

I've been to Cancun a few times back in the 90's, and Cozumel a few years ago. Only been to / through Playa once but I would like to visit again. Mexico is always calling me back, the fun I had will never be forgotten.

I was/am a single Parent and my kids are grown up now and on their own, but I would still love to take them down to Playa for a week and let them taste it. My biggest problem is finding someone I trust 100% to watch my dogs for a week. My dogs are my furry kids and I love them to bits.

Our trip is still about year out - we are getting vacation time lined up for everyone and searching for a good deal and resort, and I'm learning all I can. I work outside all day and daydream about this trip daily. My goal is to make it to Playa and get some pizza at that Ciao pizzeria italiana place. Someday...

I might be asking some silly questions, hope that's okay. Stay warm, nice to meet everyone.

Yep, I work outside. It pays the bills. We are in a cold stretch for sure!

I probably went past your house a few times with my Boys in our little fishing boat back in the day! We would put in at Traxler sometimes and buzz upstream. We liked to stop and fish at the sandbar too. A few times we put in at the 4 mile bridge and made it all the way up to Indianford to the Sunset. Always caught some cats and a few eyes right before dark.

I try to make it to Milwaukee at least once a year to Miller park and also to get me some Balistreri pizza!! YUM!

Thank you for the welcome.

I thought I might Hi-jack this thread and say hello from Wisconsin. I have been a longtime lurker, but this is my first post.

I'm from Milwaukee, WI. My wife and I will be in PDC in January for out 2nd time and it will be our 4th time in Mexico overall. We rented a condo last year and we are doing the same this year. Can't wait to be back in the warmth of Playa.

I've been to Rockton a few times. I was gonna say I had a really good burger at the firehouse tavern but I think that was Roscoe.

Hi all...............WI here too. We live in the SW corner by the Mississippi River in the hills of Grant Co. We are in Playa Jan 29th -Mar 4th this year. We are practicing retirement so stretch our vacation every year. Playa Info is a great source of information and is like reading my newspaper in the morning to see what's happening.

BIG Milwaukee Brewer fan and Green Bay Packers.

Love to meet others from WI while we are there.................

I actually live in Greenfield. I grew up in West Allis and I use that username because otherwise I will forget whatever new one I give myself.

We will be there from Jan 10-18. Huge Brewer fan here, and of course I think it is obligatory to be a Packer fan if you live in Wisconsin.

To cool! I bet Bubbles is a cool neighbour!
