Is it then possible to board the bus at each terminal for the trip to Playa?

Yes. In terminal 2 it is at the other end where you exit. Just go to your right. In terminal 2 there are two exits, one for domestic arrivals and one for international arrivals. At both exits go right, it is a longer walk from international arrivals to the bus.Occasionally people (taxi drivers) will tell you the bus is not coming for a couple of hours or not running. Don't listen to them. Terminal 3 the bus is located to your right as well but a little easier to find.

I was picking someone up last week at Terminal 2 and noticed the Meeting Place lounge is closed and a new fence all the way out about 150 yards. So, If you are ever picking someone up,tell them they have to turn right at their first opportunity and walk past the new turnstiles

Meeting point?

I'm arriving into T2 about an hour before my wife arrives into T3. I am planning on shuttling over to meet her at margaritavile. But for some reason, I think the shuttle drops you at the ticket counter for the T3 and you would be prevented from getting thru to the meeting point...will this be possible?

Not at Margaritaville. You won't be allowed in that area.
There is a meeting point outside of T3 arrivals, to the left of the exits.
Tell your wife to take an immediate left (not straight towards shuttles/taxis) upon exiting the terminal.

Is your wife going to the outside bar of T3? You can take the shuttle to T3 and walk along the front to the end. There is a guard and a gate that you can enter. Just say you are meeting your wife at the bar or going to get the ADO bus. They are very easy to let you in if you look like a tourist and not a taxi tout.
But you do know that that bar is ridiculously priced!!!!! One Gatorade is $4.17 let alone the beer prices!!! An alternative would be the Starbucks in T# by the ticket counters or the one restaurant there which might have drinks.

The guard gave me a pretty hard time trying to get through that gate last year...she eventually relented. I was hoping there was a better meeting point that would make it easy to catch our ride.

Thanks

Is your ride ADO? Then they have to let you in. I never have a problem crossing over. You can always walk out in the parking lot and around the fence/hedges to the other side. Easy to do. Then go to the bar.
