Requesting a room at Secrets

Hey there everyone

I am going on my honeymoon June 6-17th to Secrets and wanted to know if anyone has ever requested a specific room there, and how receptive the staff was to your inquiry. Also, anyone have advice on what room/area to stay in? Thanks! :p

I am a part time travel agent, and I always ask for some professional consideration when I travel. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you do not. The only thing that is for sure is; if you don't ask, you don't get.

I was going to stay at Secrets Capri this summer, but decided to go to IB Lindo instead. The reviews for the Capri have been a bit of a rollercoaster, but it seems that just about everyone on this board who has been there has loved it. Everything that I have seen indicated that this will be a real top flight resort if it isn't already. I look forward to planning a trip there within the next year.

In closing, I would suggest writing a polite businesslike email to the address I gave you and ask for whatever you want within reason. If you get it, good for you. If you don't, don't be upset because it's a vacation for you or I and a business for them. Have fun and PLEASE, give us a trip report on your return.

...i do recall from previous messages, that people were successful in obtaining specific rooms by emailing the resort in advance. Also, you might want to contact Claudia at gyc@secretscapri.com.mx (she is thier wedding/honeymoon coordinator). Where are the best rooms in the resort?
