Ann it is, my mistake. Molly Ivins was quite funny also when her friend Ann was in office but quickly lost her sense of humor when George was elected. I still catch her column in the Red Star (Mpls. Star/Trib) occasionally and on the web but it is usually a rant against the Bushes and/or Republicans in general.

Yea, I've changed parties from my younger days and don't take too kindly to all the negative liberal b.s. from Molly, but I still respect her for all she's been through though. And I may switch back and vote for Kinky Friedman for governor this time around!

Now if they had any skiing in Texas then we could talk...but everytime I'm up in the mountains out here you should see all the Texans trying to get down the mountain, usually wearing a Longhorns Parka...funniest thing "y'all ever see"
I do like the proximity to Mexico though and the gas thing though!

Kinky and the Texas Jewboys. He is a very interesting character. I watched him on Imus in the morning about a month ago. Good solid Texan. Profane, funny, independent. Sort of a peoples candidate like Jesse, only with a brain. Jesse the brain won only because the dems and repubs fielded such losers for candidates. When it takes a politician 10 minutes to answer a yes or no question, its time to pick door number 3.

No joke! You know, he writes the "back page" (which is really a number of pages) in Texas Monthly Magazine. It's the only thing I read in the entire magazine. It's a shame, but I can't imagine he'll get voted in.

I think Houston and the DF would be an interesting matchup on bad driving, but the taxi driver in the DF would put them over the top for the gold medalif you have cancer, you would want to be at MD Anderson, if your severely burned, you want to be at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, as close to God as it gets when prodcuing miracles |

Well taxi drivers in DF are tame...
... in comparison with those crazy devils driving the Colectivo Microbuses. A large, I don't have the number, of the accidents in DF are caused by those bastards. Of course having all those nice hospitals is a great bennefit, but I will prefer not to have to use them. |
