Distance from Palladium to Cancun?

How long will it take us to get from the Palladium to Cancun? Isn't that where most of the "night life" is?? We are staying at the Palladium May 30-June 3rd and my boyfriend is disappointed about not being close to the bars in Cancun. Aren't there packages you can get where you have transportation to the bars and free drinks??? Would anyone recommend that?? Suggestions are very appreciated!

stayed in Playacar for 1 week last week ( about 15 minutes from Palladium ) so I can tell you the Palladium is about 1 hour from Cancun.

At our hotels, there were lots of excursions and packages we could buy, and one of them was the bus going to Cancun at the club COCO BONGO, the entrance at the club, all you can drink all night and the return back to your hotel for 38$ usd each .
Not so bad when you consider you have the transport included.

I am pretty sure the Palladium had a "disco" also... I don't know if it is good, but it's better than nothing .
There is also a few nice bars and discotheques in Playa del Carmen. Do a search on the General forum with "bars" . The most popular I think is the ****** .

Also, once you get to your hotel, ask the "guest service" or the "reception" if the organise groups to go out at night. Sometimes the staff at our hotel advised us they were going to this or that bar, and they invited all the clients to go with them .

Tell your boyfriend that there is planty to do either in Riviera Maya or in Cancun, he will not be disapointed.

Yes, there are club tours to Cancun. But I suggest you take your boyfriend into Playa del Carmen at night, early in your stay. I think you'll find that there is plenty of nightlife there-- and you'll be a lot closer to your comfy bed when you are ready to collapse!
