Sorry, I should have clarified that I was referencing properties in the north end of Playa, the Nuevo Quinta or "Little Italy" area of town; let's say east of Avenues 15th or 20th. Hard to find new construction prices less than $150,000
Luckily, I purchased my first condo almost 4 years ago on Calle 30 between 1st and 5th Avenues. Price has more than doubled since then (a 2 bedroom condo)
. Purchased a second condo within about 200 yards of my first condo (closed December '06). Price was almost 3x what I paid for my first condo
