Was supposed to leave this morning for the Grand Fiesta in Valladolid but may have to cancel. Headed to NJ Tuesday to pick up a car then drive to Virginia for 3-5 days then drive off to Boca Raton for 3-5 days then back home to Playa around May 12. Then headed back to Boca to 2 weeeks on May 22. Doing the Boca Bash plus Memorial Day party, etc., etc.. Stay tuned............

Congratulations, ewe were the only one!!

English is not an easy language to learn, but as Americans/Canadians, etc. we grew up with it and expect other nationalities to speak "our language" when in our country. We are so arrogant (and lazy) we don't invest the time and energy to learn other languages. Most citizens in other countries speak a minimum of two languages (if not three or more). Listen and converse with those citizens (and European tourists) throughout Playa and one will quickly hear the different languages being spoken (including English).

It's time we devout some energy into studying Spanish as it's one of the top 3 easiest languages to learn for Americans:

The Top 3 Easiest Languages to Learn for English Speakers

We should learn from folks like Nancy for reaching out there and furthering their language skills...

Aye, ewe was.

This would be correct for Texas-speak, as MayaNut knows - but there are no ewes in Texas, because they eat the tumbleweeds right down to the roots (range wars and all that). No tumbleweed, no Texas. (Except the Texas of Hollywood myth, where they use fake plastic artificial tumbleweed substitute - 'Hollyweed')

No wonder Nancy doesn't post anymore...
