Be Mexican standards, housing and durable goods here are on the expensive side.

However, you can live cheaply easily. I had 6 pastor tacos for dinner tonight and paid 18 pesos. You can eat yourself stuffed for lunch with 30.

3 days of water is 14 pesos.

The beach is free. Bicycle tube patches are 7 pesos. You can save hundreds of pesos by not getting your hair braided on fifth ave.
