New to town

Hey guys! My name Randy and I just rented an apt for a few months, maybe more, around 46(CTM) and 5th and was wondering where are the goods spots I should know about by me and more importantly where can I buy a used moped ) been looking for some kind of classified online but can't seem to find anything except Craigslist which has very little of anything. Forum classifieds, newspaper, website ect. Any help would very much be appreciated! Love this town and can't wait to get settled in

Welcome Randy, my husband and I live right around the corner from you at 44th and 10th but we move this Thur to Playacar. There is a little ppizza place right on 5th between 44th and 46th,,pizza by the slice,,excellent and cheap!!! We also love Green Box for wraps on 5th and 40th (not sure if that's right but real close). Head down to the other of 5th to Wah Wah's, good music and free beach chairs,,,but they like you to buy food and drinks. It's on 2nd off of 5th and Bad Boys is on 4th off of 5th. Lot's of expats.

Thank you! Not sure what kind of place u r looking for or your price range but next door has a spot available. It's a studio for $5500 pesos/month. It's ok nothing fabulous, cool courtyard and cool people. Nice Neighborhood here I really like it. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle so u can relax but close enough for a short bike ride or walk...plus u can see the ocean from outside your door looking down the road, 2 blocks. It's called posada suuk or palapa suuk two names Idn but I'm next door to them in a small private locally owned building.

I think they have a place. Near you. They are looking for places to hang out - I think.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, last days I was working a lot Actually I have a studio already, near you and for 4500 pesos a month. It's super small so I think I'll change it eventually but not now. I was more wondering about places to hang out and meet people. Work occupies a lot of my time during the week so when a weekend comes I'm more or less on my own. That's not a problem but I would really like to socialize once or twice a week. Sitting in a random bar by my self is not that much fun so I would really appreciate suggestions of the places where you can go and hang out with people in pretty much same situation. Expats or Mexicans, it doesn't matter as long as they are a good company!
