Yes, it's sad what that disease takes away... but what a beautiful thing you did!! Not only did you get him safely home that day, but just think.....who's to know how many times your gift of that bracelet has helped him and is still helping him find his way home??!! And what a great thing for your daughter to see her mother do too!

David lives in a condo complex, and recently he and another neighbor, Jim, assembled a media unit thing for a couple living a few units down the hall (one of those multi-shelved/multi-doored things that holds your TV, stereo, had bookshelves and such). The wife saw David in the laundry room and told him point blank "my husband's too stupid to assemble it". From what I can gather, both the husband and wife have some mental difficulties and basically bought something that was way over their heads to assemble. It took David and Jim two entire evenings to get it put together. One of those evenings David's son was with him and helped as best he could. I just thought it was great for Zachary to learn that this is the kind of thing you do sometimes.... help those who need it. A fabulous lesson to learn by seeing it in action.
