Walmart, Mega, Chedraui or Soriana.
Have you spent much time here?

Marzan for fruit/veg is closest to North Playacar, (30 ave/calle 1 sur.) Chedraui is further up that street.

Kinda depends where in Playacar you are tho. If you are at the south end (furthest from town, so bit of a hike) then Sams and Soriana are across the highway and close to those Playacar exits or Chedraui bit further north on .

Glad you're moving to PLAY, and not to work...

I find myself hitting all of them, because if one store doesn't have what I'm looking for, another one will...since inventory fluctuates so much. For instance, Soriana usually has Club Soda, and sometimes I can find it at Mega. But rarely will I find it at Chedraui or Walmart. And I like the bakery at Mega, and prefer the wine section at Walmart. And not sure if you're moving with a cat, but the only place you can buy decent cat litter is at Walmart.

Don't worry, you'll get into your groove in no time and figure out which one(s) are best for your needs!

If you shop at Walmart I recommend the La Cruz one on the Arco Vial. We shop at Soriana in Centro Maya or the downtown Chedraui because they're close to where we live. Both good stores.

DAC has a small selection in a back cooler. You can also find some at the local markets. It is surprisingly tough to grow things here. We don't have a lot of good dirt to work with but there are some people making headway with biodynamic gardening and aquaponics.

Bio Natural also has organic items (including yoghurt). Located on 24 or 26 St between 5th and 10th.

There is also a small organic store right in Playacar, I believe. I never saw a lot of produce there but they did have sprouts and some other nice things. Is it still there?
