When I drove into work the morning the UK prices were 78.9 pence per litre so I think that works out as about £3.58 per gallon (maths has never been my strong point)
Not sure what that would be in USD.Zade |

$1.89 Regular Unleaded
$1.99 Mid Grade Unleaded $2.09 Premium Changes daily by few cents up or down. Exspect it to be higher in summer. Can't wait to visit PDC in July. Won't worry about filling the car up then. ![]() |

Price in Mexico City today: Premium 7.02 pesos per litre = 2.286 us per gallon.
Regular is around 2.05-2.15, can't remember always use premium. Price in San Francisco* first week of April: Regular 2.20 average (lowest 2.13 at ARCO, highest 2.35 can't remember where, it was obscene) For those of you complaining about price fluctuation (changes in price), we in Mexico (we export oil, lots of it) only know price raises, two mexican cents per month. Price never goes down (except in the border, to keep it competitive with the US) as we only have one oil company (PEMEX) that is controlled by the government. *-this is the reason I haven't been able to participate in the forum for a couple weeks. |

You math is off a bit, but if you paid 78.9 pence/l that's about 5.27USD a gallon.

Gas Prices
So, you think a gallon of gasoline is expensive...?? * Diet Snapple 16oz for $1.29 = $10.32 per gallon * Lipton Ice Tea 16oz for $1.19 = $9.52 per gallon * Gatorade 20oz for $1.59 = $10.17 per gallon * Ocean Spray 16oz for $1.25 = $10.00 per gallon * Pint of milk 16oz for $1.59 = $12.72 per gallon * STP Brake Fluid 12oz for $3.15 = $33.60 per gallon * Vick's Nyquil 6oz for $8.35 = $178.13 per gallon * Pepto Bismol 4oz for $3.85 = $123.20 per gallon * Whiteout 7oz for $1.39 = $25.42 per gallon * Scope 1.5oz for $0.99 = $84.48 per gallon And this is the REAL KICKER... * Evian water 9oz for $1.49 = $ 21.19 per gallon $21.19 FOR WATER!! So next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on Nyquil or Scope, Whiteout or water!!! |

<B> Warning: The Effects of Drinking Too Much Scope! </B> While shooting some photos in downtown Denver I came across this fellow. Near him were two empty bottles of mouthwash. Right next to him is one of the caps from a mouthwash bottle. Wonder if this fella would have chosen a different method for achieving this altered state of consciousness had he known of mckinzie's research findings. ![]() |
