What are you paying for gas?
I live in Kuna, Idaho. Kuna is approx. 20 miles from the Boise area. I was going to fill up the tank before work this morning but I was running late. Ten minutes later, gas went up .03 cents. I was mad at myself. I know, I only would have saved about .30 cents, but I was still angry. In Kuna/Boise Idaho, gas is about $1.86 a gallon.
What are you paying for a gallon? BC |

about 1.95 US/gallon
I think gasoline should be heavily taxed everywhere, like it is in Europe. Driving big SUV's (and tax-breaks that encourage their use), an ever-declining CAFE, and relaxed emission regulations are all wrong. My 2 pesos.

$2.17 regular
Northern Calif $2.23 regular last week So Cal So don't complain, but I agree with James, I think the State/Feds should slap a $1.00 to $2.00 tax on top of this and slow consumption down. Sorry to any 300+ HP SUV drivers. Last edited by CalifGuy : 04-19-2004 at 08:19 PM. |

don't worry everyone, GW's side deals with the Saudi royal family should bring prices down before November.

Ready for the math?
Here in White Rock, BC, upper-middle-class suburbia (of which I am not ), home of the most SUV drivers in any BC wester Canadian city who slow down to 2 miles an hour for speed bumps (what good is an SUV if you're not goin' up a mountain in it, I say), gas runs at $0.86 CDN per litre. There are 3.68 US gallons per litre, so thats $3.27 CDN per gallon, converted over using today's Bank of Canada exchange rate, that means gas up here is sitting at a wopping $ 2.35 per gallon. Glad I drive my little Sunfire. |

Now we're waiting on much more stringent regulations on vehicle emmissions in Austin/San Antonio.... but the real opponents to this will turn out to be LULAC and the ACLU ... & how do you say "tailpipe sniffer" in Spanish???$1.62 mid-grade @ Sac-n-Pac #13 |
