I suggest getting a new ATM card, to be activated only for this trip, then cancel once you return home. Also, last year we had two cards issued, so that my husband had one and I had the other.
Just wondering... How did the thief know your PIN number?

You can keep your card locked up and thieves can get your pin. it is crazy these days.
My one thing is a good camera. Photos are the best souvenirs.

They don't ask for our PIN number when we use our debit cad at retail stores.

Sure.
If your card provider gives you one.

Earplugs ! one set for noise and a silicone set for snorkeling .

Second the small soft sided cooler .

Short extension cords always get used as well .

An odd one, but . . . .

Paintbrush.

Learned about it on this very forum. The very best way to get the sand off your feet as you leave the beach and put your flip flops back on. We leave ours in our "Playa beach bag."

Baby powder causes sand to fall right off and leaves your skin smooth and dry.
Jersey Shore trick.

Bug dope although I know you can find it I never want to go searching we like bens or deep woods off.
Good bras which are hard to find if I'm staying any length of time, and bikini's / cover ups I'm picky, and cannot find any I love when shopping locally partially due to being tall..
Oh and comfy shoes I wear a womens 9.5 which is difficult to find most stores cut off at 9, and often there are very few pairs of those. Really you can find most anything in the Playa area but we travel farther out and it can be harder.
