It might not be room 337 or 388. But still can not go wrong with 353. Location is still mint for views. Happy packing and safe travels.

Last full day at RPDC. Will start the trip report once back home. I think the report will be surprising to those of you who have actually stayed here. Started out well but the past two days the hotel has been doing construction on the roof of the building that we are staying in (unrelated to the construction of the new hotel going up on the other side of the resort). Constant drilling and hammering starting from 7am-8pm, so there is no retreat from the sun into the room or midday naps. Very disappointing as the hotel gave no notice. But will provide you all with further details...

We had a similar experiance, only with painters and ladders by our swim up pool when we were there.

I'll be there on Saturday. Any idea if the job is finished and if any other buildings will be worked on?

Sandy. I'm not sure. We were not notified of the work they were doing on the roof of the COBA building so I don't know when that work will be finished or if they will be doing similar work on the other buildings. However, this morning there was a notice under the door that they would be painting and needed access to the balcony from 10am-5pm (but we were checking out anyways). Also, they are doing work in the hallways of the COBA building (I'll post pictures of that) and work on the main pool bathroom, which is currently closed due to plumbing problems.

Too bad you missed out on 337...we LOVED LOVED LOVED that room! But you had a great room nonetheless.

Congrats on everything going on in your life! Good for you!

Have been "gone" from Playa since June and I'm missing it so much. Especially with fall sneaking in here in Central PA!
