Hello.
Hubby and I will be vacationing soon at the Iberostar Maya for our 45th anniversary. Found this site to be full of good info.
I am wondering it PFC has any wine stores that carry inexpensive wines like Arbor Mist
Thanks

Hi!

There are many wines available in the 85-130 peso range (roughly $6.5-$10 USD), many of then Chilean and Argentinian - also usually a fair selection of Spanish wines. Have never heard of Arbor Mist, so I do not know about that one. Availability of US wines may be somewhat more limited.

Thanks for the update on wines. I am not a big wine drinker but I do like Strawberry Mango Muscato Arbor Mist and a few of their other flavors. Probably just an American wine.

I'll look in Playa when we are there. I might find something comparable. Thanks again

You can find a lot of Boone's Farm flavored wines in most supermarkets, which I think is comparable to Arbor Mist. I will confess that I do like the Tropical flavor which is like drinking adult citrus kool-aid,

Is there a supermarket near Play Del Carmen? We will be staying at the Iberostar Maya but will go to PDC a couple times.

Yes. Walmart and Mega. I'd recommend checking out Mega if you've never had the opportunity

Yes, and Wal-Mart is a couple of blocks directly south.

There's also Chedraui just two blocks south of Juarez on Hwy 307, the main road from Tulum to Cancun.

Bet you'd find a much larger selection of wines at La Europea. In the new mall, right on 5th (or 10th) and Constituyentes.

That mall is really something. One minute an empty jungle lot with a few paths leading to who knows what, and the next a huge, modern building full of lights and a living ceiling of hanging plants. All right, a little longer than a minute, but just sayin...
