Work weekend, again. Have 7 cabinets to stain and finish for the garage storage. I should've bought the finished cabinets but I thought it'd be great to match the color.

Need to lay ceramic tile in the master bath at the rental home. it's not a big job but lots of tile cutting. It was previously carpeted so there may be a good bit of prep work.

Sort the garage boxes from our move last summer and stow in the new cabinets.

Replace the fuel tank, fuel pump and fuel sending unit in a classic (87) IROC-Z then get it into the newly spotless garage.

Build an 11ft computer desk.

What will I do with the spare time? Football and beers? perhaps. (sarcasm off)

oh, yeah. woke up at 3AM, couldn't sleep. have a high school football game to attend tonight (this is Texas) and will be home about 1AM. Think i'll sleep like the dead tonight.

The highlights of my weekend include shopping for new dog collars and pillows as well as catching up on laundry. Sunday Funday is also in the works so there may be some drunk posting

You have any injuries planned for this weekend?

Drunk post away. They are the best.

I have the same weekend plan but without all those chores. Basically watching football.

I have to go to a relatives house to see their newborn. Never a big fan of that. You can't really do anything with them and I know those parents are going to make everyone Purell up before touching the baby. I would prefer to wait until they are a few months old before I visit. It is more entertaining for me than to watch a baby sleep.

Roni, is this a hint that we party too much and need a nurse?

Bob, I live on the 6th floor but the rain was pounding against my balcony-door and came in through it. Usually the wind comes from the other side and I don't have that problem.

That's a lot of rain! And a lot to clean up.

I am hoping that means that 'tropical wave' has passed over Playa early? Not likely....maybe the first wave of it though?

We leave bright and early tomorrow, we should be in Cancun about three thirty. Looks like we will be having some wet weather there, at least the first few days. Fingers crossed!

People really do that? I don't know know anyone who does that!

Mrs Fresh, tell us about Sunday Funday. We will likely be watching our provincial football team the Riders play Sunday after noon, so maybe I will join you in some drunk posting later that day.

Well, just shows that you can never be 100 % sure of anything.

I will be a happy 'in bed' though as I learned this morning that the specialist sees no reason why I should not be able to fly out in two weeks. I will fly directly to Vanuatu (2.5 hours from Brisbane) then which was supposed to be the second country of my trip. Now it will be the first. Although I am sad about missing Tonga I am happy that I can still do the remaining part of the trip.

So, let's party...

That's too bad....can you still do the seven weeks, just in reverse?

Drinking some Bloodstone and have steaks, on the grill that I marinated in beer and oil and BBQ sauce. Haven't done that in years, old camping steak marinade recipe.
