New all around

I've never been to Playa before so I'm looking forward to any info I can get. I went to Akumal 15 years ago and knocked around Merida, Chichen and Isla Mujeres about 40 years back so I know I'm in for a shock. I'm heading to Playacar this November with my wife & daughter and we're really looking forward to it. I hope we can get in a little reef fishing and a lot of relaxation!

That is probably an understatement.

I wish.
It's in Cancun.
But we do have a Sam's Club, but it's just not the same.

Great stuff! I am actually snacking on that now. I don't know how you guys do it living there. That is one think I really miss when we spend 6 weeks there. Haven't found good cheese there yet without taking out a mortgage.

There you go, a business opportunity is presented. Tillamook cheese distributor in PDC. Advertise on Playa.info.

We buy this cheese here. Only a short drive to Cancun.

Tillamook isn't far from here. On the coast up by Portland. Been to the cheese factory a few times. You can't leave that place without spending a hundred bucks in the gift shop. They make great ice cream too.

I leave there with every flavor cheese they make. AND, cheese curds! I really need to try and fry them sometime.

It's in a beautiful little valley in the coast range mountains. Very scenic. Except the whole valley smells like... Well, a dairy farm.

Whoa. I guess I drifted a little off topic there. Sorry.

Welcome, curmudgeon!
