Sex engine needing fuel for PDC trip...
Har har - made ya look!
We are leaving next Wed. for Isla, PDC and Puerto Morelos. Can't wait to be kicking back on the beach with a frosty libation in hand ![]() We really love fine wines and tequilas, but don't like toting the bottles on the plane with us, and need some help to find a place where we can stock up on our way from the airport either in Cancun on the way to the ferry dock to IM, or in PDC once we arrive. When I say fine wines, just a good Ca. Chardonnay will suffice. There's a Mexican Chardonnay we really like - Monte Xanic - I wonder if we could find it on Isla or somewhere in Cancun or in PDC? We also like Don Julio, Tres Generaciones, and Reserva de la Familia tequilas and Stolichnaya vodka. Anyone have any suggestions on where to look to find these and the wines by the bottle at decent prices? (We'd prefer to get them in Cancun as we are headed to IM first, but any suggestions for IM or PDC would be great too!) Maybe Chedraui? Also, if anyone knows of any restaurants in Playa that have a nice wine/tequila list, that would be helpful also. Last year, it seemed like Casa del Agua had a pretty good selection. Thanks SO much for any and all help and suggestions! "Counting the Days" Nancy |

Thanks James!
I have been checking out all of the threads on the various tequilas and the reviews and have been suitably impressed! It seems as though it was gone about very scientifically, and we will be trying out some of the recommendations made. My main focus was to try and find someplace that we might be able to do some "one stop shopping" and pick up most of what we need since we are going to be staying in several locales, and to find place sin PDC to get good wines with dinner. Appreciate your help, Nancy |

(it recommends Covi, on Constituyentes and the Highway) The best place, however, is either Sam's or Costco in Cancun. I got a bottle of Centenario Reposado yesterday at Costco for 159 pesos (about 14.50US) and it's about 220 at Covi. When Sam's opens in Playa, it will be the place to buy, until then, it's still Covi for local shopping. |

Thanks bunches James!
Are the Sam's and Costco in downtown Cancun or in one of the new shopping centers? (I know there are lots of smaller liquor stores in the Zona Hotelera, but I don't remember seeing any larger stores there.) Nancy |

In response to your subject line I have taken the liberty of forwarding all of the "sex fuel, enlargement, bop-until-you-drop junk email I receive daily. You will need to keep a close eye on your PM box so that it doesn't overflow. Or you could just send me your email account and I will send the stuff directly.
Enjoy

Cute reply from Critter.
We ate twice at Casa Del Agua last week, we chose the place because of the good service and the outstanding wine list. Here is a classic Casa Del Agua story. We where having dinner at Casa and a friend of ours (who only drinks the finest wine, best tequila etc) orders a Margarita. Later during the dinner she tells the waiter she has finished with the glass. The waiter notices that the glass is still full, and asks what was wrong. Our friend makes a quiet comment about the drink. In an average restaurant the story would end there. But not here at Casa del Agua. In two minutes the bar tender arrives at our table. He sets up a margarita bar on a big tray next to the table. And with full Mexican showmanship makes the perfect Margarita exactly to our friend’s specifications. A Perfect example of turning a problem into a run away success. Later that week when we got caught in the rain, we dashed into Casa for another great dinner. |

Oh BOY! Just what I need in addition to the 100 or so I get every day. Please at least try to weed out the Cialis ones and the Paris Hilton ones for me OK? (The Cialis ads that tell you that you should see your doctor if your - ahem - "excitement" lasts for more than FOUR HOURS (!!!) scare me to death.)
