The beachfront walk out rooms offer little privacy AND it's a lot more expensive than the oceanfront room. The higher you are off the ground = the better your view of the ocean. I'd take oceanfront, not the walk out and save the money.

You have to book a Royal Jr. Suite
Ocean view or higher room category in order to be able to use the online check in/room selection area of the RPDC web site. If you book just a regular Jr. Suite, you can't check in online and select your room.

Can't help you with that, depends on what room category you book for one. If you qualify for the online check in, just wait until you are able to see what's available and go from there.

In the Royal Jr. Suite Ocean view rooms and above - there are supposed to be. I wouldn't be surprised if not every room will have one though as I bet it's going to be difficult to keep them in good repair and working order every day in every room that is supposed to get one.
