Just finished looking at your most recent posts and thanks!! Great pictures and I'm so glad you both had an awesome trip. I think I can speak for the majority when I say we don't care if your trip was a day or for two weeks, we all enjoy seeing our PI friends have fun ... and, truthfully, we kinda live for TRs....

There, I said it .

I agree! I think Dana probably has some great stories. I could picture him pulling some pranks along that coastline.

How did I miss this TR?

Very nice! Love the photos as usual. Beautiful wide beach.

and THANK YOU for the photo of the hot surfer dudes.

San Diego, like much of southern California has a sizable population of the homeless and down and out.
That was something that really struck me about SF. So sad.

I figured someone would appreciate the surfer dudes. The area was populated by very young and extremely good looking males and females.

San Francisco has had a huge homeless population for years. At one time some were quite aggressive, but that has changed over the years with ordinances designed to deter panhandling. It is very sad.

yes it is. But with that type of weather, comes a homeless problem....we have very few here, but it's a much bigger problem in BC.

I never found any of the ones in SF aggressive. Some of the few we have here in my city downtown in comparison are really aggressive/threatening. It's a problem. We need more ordinances here I think...it's technically illegal to either panhandle or give money to a panhandler but I have yet to see or hear of anyone actually GETTING ticketed.

sorry for going OT

I love San Diego. Probably my favourite city in the United States that I have visited. It is not just the California beach scene, although that is great, but there are also a lot of great museums there. Just about everyone knows about the USS Midway, the decommissioned aircraft carrier that is now a floating museum but just a hundred yards or so north of it along the waterfront you will find the Maritime museum which features an actual cold war era Soviet submarine. One of the most important duties of a Soviet sub would have been to track the movements of American aircraft carriers like the Midway. It just boggles my mind that these two craft which were stalking each other across the seven seas 40 years ago during the Cold War are now both floating museums in San Diego. Anyone with an interest in history can visit both in the same day.
