back for more....people always ask me why playa

I Love playa.... it is really weird I am kind of OCD about where I go once I find a place i love to keep going back and back again... it use to be Mazatlan which BTW is a hidden jewel... Last time I was there though some stuff happened which made me not want to ever go back.... My friends parents introduced me to Playa and I fell in love.... I refuse to explore and go anywhere else because I know what to expect in Playa.... One day I hope to retire to playa

Agreed. We have tried some other spots over the past few years... Aruba, Puerto Rico... A day or two in we just look at each other and say "Nope, it ain't Playa"

People always asked us "why Cozumel" after 12 trips. We came to playa for 9 days last year and really missed Cozumel. Sad thing was that we could see it the whole time. We enjoyed Playa but it was a wee bit bussier than Cozumel. One thing about Playa........we never got bored!

Agree with you! We've been to many wonderful places, but we have fallen in love with Playa, and can't say exactly why. We bring friends and some love it and come back, and others are its ok.

May seems so far away right now. New job for the wife gives her no vacation time till this sept. We are doing our May 9 day trip with her making no money that week. Wanted to go down for Superbowl but just can't afford to do that twice.

We LOVE Playa!! We have been traveling here since 1997 and we will always return. We've stayed in Cancun and Cozumel too , but no place is quite like Playa.
We are very excited and happy to be returning this April.
It has changed a lot in the last 18 years since our first visit , but
Playa is like coming HOME!!

Going to RPRM in March. My first trip to the area was an awesome week at CRT about eight years ago. I hope this resort is comparable. About the weather- On my first visit, it was kind of windy. Is this common?

I think anywhere in the world if you are by a ocean it gets a little windy. I Booked today my 3rd trip and it's suppose to be -20 wind chill in Iowa tonight so 80's and wind I'll take any day... Lmao so stoked

Wow, is it really that bitterly cold in Iowa? It was 74 here in California today. I'll bet Playa will be a welcome change for you. Have a great trip.

Been more than 40 times now. Enjoy your 1st trip there. Not sure what type of advice you're looking for. So much to see and do.

This is exactly why I'm 'afraid' to go anywhere else! In 2009 we went to Venezuela (for a wedding) and the whole week there that poor Island we were comparing to Playa. Came back from that trip and promptly booked our trip to Playa. Ever since then, I think if I go somewhere else, I'll be disappointed. It's like going home. Eventually we will get a place there to stay.
