Huatulco countdown

My husband and I are going to Dreams Huatulco in 2 weeks. Just can't come soon enough with all this cold weather we're having in Southern Ontario! Thought we'd change things up a bit. I'll be missing Playa, but the 90 degree-plus weather will be really nice!! Trip report to come..

You got that right, it is HOT there.

Have fun! Make sure you go into La Crucesita and check out the town, Playa la Bocana has some decent boogie boarding and you can get a mud bath from the ladies there.

Call me envious! Huatulco has been on our to-do list for several years now. Will we be seeing a trip report?

small open boat usually with a bimini (canopy for shade)...you see them all around Playa del Carmen...in Huatulco a great local operator is Hurricane Divers...you can find them at hurricanedivers(dot)com...check out the tours tab and then the all day excursion option......sonofdob

We loved the Marival! We booked two of their family suites and travelled down with all 6 of our kids and my wife's parents. We also travelled with another family and their 3 kids, and my parents joined us there also.

A total of 9 kids aged 2-15 found plenty to keep them occupied. The pool activities were very well put together and the whole family had a wonderful time.

Unfortunately, the beaches in PV can't hold a candle to Playa....

Looking forward to your TR!

Just booked Huatalco for Jan tonight. I'll miss the Mayan but have always wanted to see Huatalco also. Can't wait.

Stayed in Huatulco in 2002 and loved it. We were the Gala/Sandos. The town square is awesome and beaches are fab. Enjoy.
