Uhhhh sctx....I think you missed my point. I was actually poking fun at Bumper. Being off topic in the Off Topic Forum is kind of an oxymoron, don't you think?

T-W-E-E-E-E-E-E-T!!

Two minutes for use of uncalled-for logic!!

Now, as for Denise's question, that's like asking, "If a schizophrenic threatens to kill himself, is that a hostage situation?"

Hey, I'm not objecting to things being "Off Topic". I'm with you on that one. I don't believe it's possible. I think this playroom was created with the specific intention of keeping us disruptive influences away from the sensible civilians. I'm just in awe of the process. Started out with Prep H, slipped into Ben Gay and Colgate, made a sharp turn into Michael Jackson, a brief reference to adolescent hi-jinks, and then got into Spurs, Lakers and Mavericks, featuring cute monikers, unpronounceable foreign names and play-by-play from games. From there, it took a jog into the latest Vegas wagering lines and trade talks. I'm impressed as Hell, but having a heck of a time keeping up.

Congratulations, guys!!
Thanks for recognizing our talents bud.

You win Kinz...I quit!! I bow in the presence of your artistry.

And yet another thread spins in uncontrolled free fall into the turf. (Like there ever was any control!)

Speaking of tequila, it sounds like you could use a couple shots.

As always..mostly, you are correct. I'm thinking that after a rough 60 hour week, the 2 shots of Cazadores in the freezer will not be enough to dull the pain... so maybe I should just shag my butt down to the liqour store... gotta pick up my Chinaco and some Crown for our trip next week anyway....Thanks for the advice girl ...and for leading us truly Off Topic!!!!!!!

We can help w/ that shock thing next Saturday at LA Ranita... thats unless the LAkers actually win 2 games and Game 6 is Saturday nite ... have to be in front of a big TV in that case, so that may require a venue change ... but just follow the echo of my wifey's "Go Tony, Go Tony...momma loves her baby".

The LA sports papers and sportscasters are all pretty flustered. Every one has an opinion. The problem began right at the beginning of the season, ask Kobe. Radio stations are saying things like "I'm not going to talk about basketball right now". I think it's sinking in. Unless the Lakers get younger, quicker, and more aggressive in a few days it may be over (including the "dynasty"). There's only 5 returning players and no coach next year. Phil is flustered too, he doesn't know how his players can't figure out how to defend the Spurs, they've played them 40x in the last 4 years and the Spurs aren't doing anything different.

It'll be worth watching the next few games just to watch Phil chew on his players.

At least no one is gonna woop on our football team. How 'bout them Angels and Dodgers?

Let's try to get this back on topic.

If Kobe had reached for the tube of <gotta keep it clean> and picked up a tube of Preparation H instead, the Lakers would probably be a lot better team today.

The Lakers are no more. Dr. Buss is going to have a fire sell.

We don't need no stinkin A-ROD.
