Do they actually "close" the pool at night? Or can we stay in the pool all night if we wanted to?

...you're welcome...bar and pool hours will be posted at the resort...can't say for sure, haven't stayed there...always stay at the riu yucatan or riu palace mexico...late nights in the pool with alcohol can mean issues for everyone...i'm guessing it would be an earlier close rather than 2 a.m...

Pool/Beach Service

Does this resort offer wait service to the pool and/or beach?

pics of the Riu Playacar look great! thanks for sharing. we will have to go check out the resort while we're at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya. I wonder when they will ever renovate the rooms at the RPRM? Can't wait to arrive. Just 13 days!

Rprm

hi, we enjoy the Riu complex. our stays at the RPRM are always nice. when we stayed there in 2016 they had renovated the pools & grounds but not the rooms. It would be nice if they renovated the rooms as well. I prefer having a walk in shower instead of having to step in & out of a tub. that's the biggest con that I would have to offer about the RPRM. we're not picky eaters & always enjoy the buffet or the restaurants. enjoy your stay!
