So I didn't do a trip report, BUT I did track my restaurants and what we ate Here you go!!
Edit: the underlined places are restaurants/places/bars that I will ALWAYS return to from now on as long as they are there.

Monday-
Playa Maya:
Coconut Shrimp (!)
Shrimp Tacos
Afrodisiako:
Tuna and Mango Tartare (!)
Potato and saffron soup with scallops (!)
Piola:
Ravioli Corina (mushroom cream sauce, ravioli overlooked and too rich, nothing special about the mushrooms)
Spaghetti Alla Crudaiola (tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, and basil)(he likes plain food)

Tuesday-
Wah Wah:
Basil Bomb and Surfer on acid
Coconut Shrimp (wouldn't get again)
Wah Wah tacos (he would get again)
Le Choperia:
LOVE the "salsa"

Wednesday-
Imprevist:
Wonderful bread basket!!
Molettes (!)
Scrambled eggs with chorizo and house potatoes
Blue Parrot: very comfy loungers and friendly waiter; strong strawberry daiquiri.
El Fogon:
Bean soup (freaking amazing. Best soup EVER. A said he would "bong it" if he could. Edit: he just ordered another cup.)
Tacos al pastor (!)
Oh La La:
Mussels in white wine garlic sauce (huge, plump, flavorful. Excellence!)
Finger Bowl (lime and mint to wash fingers)
Filet Mignon (!)
Butter Soy Tuna (best dish I've ever ate)
Free cheesecake with homemade whipped cream and blackberry compote.
(Best dining experience EVER. Best meal EVER! Perfectly attentive staff.)

Beautiful rooftop. Playing war horse on projector. Great mojito.

Friday-
Catamaya (very nice boat and good food but maybe I was drunk)

-beautiful water and beaches!!! No fish; "underwater museum" a joke. Buffet disgusting (brown water anyone? Oh wait that's the beans). Nice crew; stingy with alcohol until the end. Not as nice a boat as catamaya.

So pissed we tried here on our second to last day. Beach and water were amazing. By far the best in PDC. Just put our towels down and swam. Bought a soda before we left and asked for wifi but told we had to spend at least $100 pesos. All I wanted to do was look up the address to La Brocherie. Oh well.

Ok, now I'm hungry.

Thanks for posting your list.
I cannot eat a lot when I'm in Playa... I think it's because of all the drinking we do.
