Paying Your Predial - Online

Last year we paid our predial online through the Solidaridad website. Anyone know if this option is available this year and have the link?

(Or is it just ridiculous to think that this would be set up by November 30).

We pay ours online - property is in Xcalak/Mahahual area.
We use the following link: http://sistemas.opb.gob.mx/epredialopb/principal.php

Have not paid yet as 25% discount is till end of December. (I believe).
Plugged in numbers a week or so and yes the site was up to date. We have paid online for the last 3 or 4 years.

Easy & painless.

Hi Chula,

This page for online Predial payment came up this morning.

Consulta ó paga tu Impuesto Predial

I'm not sure what the early pay discount is?

Hi Again,

Correction: I just realized the page only allows you to see last year's tax invoice. This page has yet to offer an online payment option and the current year amount owed. We are going to have our daughter bring last years bill & pay in person.

The other link posted by Breakenridge did not work for me. It may be because I'm in the US.

Maureen

Our property is in the Xcalak/Mahahual area.
We pay from the Othon P. Blanco portal which covers southern QR.
The above site does work from the states but since our taxes are payable in Chetamul main office - your Cadastral number probably will not work for your payment.

Sorry if I confused the issue.

Correct, your Clave catastral number WILL NOT work in Playa at the website that you linked. I tried 3 Clave catastral numbers yesterday and none worked.
Went over to Palacio Municipal (City Hall) and paid 2 of them yesterday. Maybe spent a total of 10 minutes waiting in line, if that.

I would not wait until the very end of December to pay. The government here starts shutting down early for Christmas/New Years.

Sorry, I do not know the answer to that. That knowledge is above my pay grade.
How is the weather there

Same here in Merida. A lot of folks who live in Canada or the US have their property manager handle it, or a friend if they do not have a property manager.

Yes - is a good old time dive bar -- great music.
But - like PDC - people would complain that it is not like it use to be. The area has changed and will continue to change. Progress - oh yeah - also Coors Field for Baseball & etc. You would not recognize the whole downtown area.

Question for those who may know:

In mid-December I went online to pay my Predial on the city website. I entered my clave, paid the bill, received a Folio de pago and a Confirmación del banco.

I didn't check my bank account for a few weeks. I noticed the money for the Predial wasn't take. When I go to the website now and I enter my number it says "EL PREDIO NO CONTIENE ADEUDO" so it recognizes I have no balance.

I'm not in Playa at the moment, and I've been calling every week for the past month and I can never catch the right person to talk about it. I'm going to be back in Playa soon and am going to go attempt to get my official receipt and see what happened.

Really my only question is, has anyone else had this happen to them? Any chance it just takes them 3 months to take the cash? Any tips/tricks in dealing with this office?

Thanks!
