Saturday was go to town for the market that happens every Saturday in the town square in old town to buy Christmas presents and just wander. we had a few drinks and ended up having lunch at the Cheeky Monkey. That was our only meal we had in town I'm sorry but I didn't bring my camera so I don't have pictures, they would be the same as last year anyway.

The rest of the trip was just hang around the resort and eat and drink and loaf so we located a great spot in the shade. I'm not supposed to do sun because of skin problems so looking overhead I see something knocking down leaves.

I don't see nothing either but the next thing I know my leg gets peed on by this guy, at least I think it was pee.

So I said some words and went and washed my legs, fortunately for me I wasn't laying the other way.

My misadventures came to an end with iguana piss, but my wife's just started. She slipped and fell hard in the pool area restrooms, fortunately she didn't break anything but has some nasty bruises, the worst being the palm of her left hand, but her left elbow and right knee didn't look too good either, nothing a few drinks didn't fix.
The rest of our vacation was like the movie ground hog day same thing different day except for her getting stung by a bee that was swimming in the pool, it had a powerful bite and her hand and forearm swelled up pretty good, Sometimes I just don't understand that woman, she tried to save it from drowning. The hotel medic was called by our waiter and was there in a flash to put some ointment on it. I think she made it worse by not knowing how to pull the stinger out.

This was our friend, he hung around because my wife feed him I told her it would peck harder than a pigeon but she wouldn't listen but managed avoid a pecking.

The hotel beach is very nice but the waves were too big for me to swim but other people were taking advantage of it being about 5 degrees warmer than last year, El Nino I think. And no I'm not a woosie, the waves were just in a momentary lull in the picture.

Well that's all there is except my wife got sick the day we went home, not too bad tho, nothing like not feeling well boxed up in an airplane.

I love your TR, Harold, and WOW, that peacock is pretty!! Great pics!! I don't know about peacock personalities, but if they're anything like swans (here in NJ) or sandhill cranes like we have in Florida, I'd keep my distance....those suckers can get nasty if you get too close!!

Here is something I forgot. We were shopping in town and I wanted to get a beer cozy and my wife was digging trough a pile of them and holding up ones that had beer labels on them and I said just, get something that says Mexico so she grabbed on she liked and I found a belt I liked and and we paid and continued on down the boardwalk. next day we were sitting by the pool and the waiter came by and she asked what the Spanish word meant that was in the cozy. He started himming and hawing and finally said Viva Mexico and the Spanish word? Mother f__kers. We both cracked up.

Glad you still have your great sense of humor after the passport, the ex-ice cream shop, iguana pee, wifey falling, bee stings.....not so sure many would be so upbeat!! Lol! I really enjoyed your report and pictures
