What other items or "to do" things are there around Mayan Palace? GOLFING, View Mayan Ruins, dolphin swimming ...

I am visiting in June and would like to do as much as possible.

I had a lovely day at Xel-Ha...sitting under a palapa and watching the surf hit the rocks; walking the trails in the jungle; etc. It cost a little over $50US for the all-inclusive, which includes all your food and beverages, as well as equipment rental. It is about 45 minutes south of MP.

There is a place about 5-10 minutes south of MP by bus called Tres Rios. I was under the mistaken impression while I was there that it was another resort. But I've recently read on the board that it is a nature park, with canoeing, swimming, horseback riding etc. I don't know costs.

Finally, don't underestimate the rejuvenating powers of sitting either by the pool or on the beach and enjoying the view and reading a book!
