"Cancel For Any Reason" Insurance Coverage?

Hoping the travel agents on the forum can weigh in. Looking for a recommendation on travel insurance that has 100% reimbursfemnt for a "cancel for any reason" add on. The most I have found is 75% reimbursement. Also, what is your experience with actually utilizing this coverage (within the parameters of the policy). Do companies readily pay, or is it a hassle to actually get reimbursed if one cancels a trip a week in advance for a reason that is outside the regular coverage (for instance, if my dog sitter falls through . . . or there is a seaweed invasion 9 months from the date of booking . . . )

Put your search parameters in .....

https://www.squaremouth.com/

I've found SquareMouth to be the most user friendly.

I don't know of any travel insurance that offers a true cancel for any reason policy that refunds 100%. What you will find is 70-80% reimbursement if you purchase a cancel for any reason add on. I don't sell any kind of travel insurance outside of what I can get from the tour operators I book my clients with, and this is one of the main reasons why. All the tour operators I work with do sell cancel for any reason coverage that does refund 100%. No questions asked, no forms to fill out, just press the cancel button and send in a refund request. Everything is refunded to the credit card on file, minus the cost of the insurance.

Thanks Shammy and Mr. Rat. I used the squaremouth site, and was able to find what I needed (although as you stated, Shammy, it was impossible to find coverage that will reimburse at 100%).
