Book at Wal Mart they sell all the tours at a large discount, just don't let them talk you into the free option of taking the time share sales thing.

If you use Yukatreks make sure you book quite a bit before you want to go, they won't do a trip until they get enough people.

The best private tour company is Living Dreams Mexico, they spoil you You can even customize your excursion to go anywhere in the Riviera Maya + Chichen Itza, Valladolid etc. I love their gourmet lunch by the beach!

I prefer to be my own tour company. A rental car and do it myself. I just enjoy the freedom.
