We do not use credit cards in Mexico, and we live here. Use a debit card in ATMs, though.

Having pesos is good. We used the one on Holbox once. Glad it worked

I have never used a credit card in Mexico before, but I was certainly glad I had brought it as backup.

Thank you SOOOO MUCH!! I love reading your comments and really enjoyed all the pics!!

I don't want to whine, but I will....I missed your usual trip report and the narratives, you write beautifully (probably close a trial the same way, huh?!) and, well, you understand, we all live for TRs when we're stuck at home, lol!!

Thanks again, you both look marvelous and so happy. I'm happy for you!

Thank you...I really appreciate that. I do miss writing them, but its a lot of works and I'm just not feeling this board like I used to (lack of contribution and trolls). I've been tossing around the idea of starting a blog for ages now and I might just take a stab at that now that I'm not working (family stuff...long story).

Oh, that sounds like a great drink. Thanks for the reply. I checked out the Playa D photos and they are really nice too. You have a great eye for an interesting photo.

I too missed your TR. They are very informative. I have not been on PI for a while and was happy to see your new TR. I am looking forward to looking at your vacation photos. I find myself taking less and less pictures each vacation, so I no longer bother doing a TR. But my TR were not as fun as yours.
Sorry to hear about your family stuff, hope it gets better soon! You would be a great blogger!!

I still love taking pictures, but I barely take any in Playa anymore. In fact, I didn't even bring my camera this trip, just my phone. I would love to take a solo trip one of these days...just me and my DSLR with no one to complain every time i stop in the street to take a picture. One of these days he will figure out that I won't get lost if he just keeps walking.

Great pics, thanks!

My thoughts on next trip are Holbox? Xcalak? Holbox? Xcalak? If I only have a week, which to choose? Glad to hear you weren't bored. Isla didn't bore me until maybe the very end of the week. I like quiet.

Holbox is closer to CUN.

Xcalak has a nice little clothing optional resort, if you like that. It is quiet.

North of Mahahual, Maya Beach Garden is nice.

I like clothing optional

Quiet and a bikini suffice for me. Appreciate all your trip advice.

La Perla Pixan on 38th between 5th and 10th. He was a great bartender and gave us a mescal and pulque tasting and taught us a lot about the history of those drinks.
