Hola retirement & Playa!

We will be retiring in the next couple of months and have a 3 month rental booked for Jan-March 2017 (Margaritas II). We have frequently visited Mexico (Riviera Maya, PV and Huatulco - mostly hotels) but picked Playa for our first long term trip.
We will be following this forum for tips on great places to go and things to do! Probably lots of questions too as the time draws near. Adios for now!!

We will be in Playa del Carmen from January to June

I am retired lived in Brazil, Argentina now looking at Mexico. My girlfriend is Brazilian and we are looking at Mexico for 6 month a year. This will be are first experience in Playa del Carmen. I found I like smaller beach towns that are walkable. What I have read Playa del Carmen seem to have the best of both worlds. Has some big box stores for getting basic. We rented a apartment so will get full experience of normal living. Hope we can meet sometime.

We are newly retired too and are going to be staying at Margaritas ll.
This will be our second stay there and it's a great location.
We will be there for five weeks starting January 8.
Iam sure we will see you at the pool for happy hour at four

Love the complex .So close to all the markets,Mega,Walmart, restaurants.
Favourite pizza joint is Ninas (not sure of spelling) and Don Chendos .
Hope you love it there as much as we do. I believe there is happy hour at the pool later in the day. 🌞
