We have hummingbirds all year long. Mostly Anna's Hummingbirds. The males have a greenish emerald back and a ruby red throat and a great arial (swooping) display.

I like to watch them take showers in the sprinklers. Once while hand watering the lawn in our backyard, a hummingbird flew onto my shoulder and stayed there for a couple of minutes.

How cool is that!
