I'm sure I'm much older than most folks in this thread, but I can relate to the "Flip Cup" game.
My son had me come to a tail-gate party this past year for a University of Georgia (UGA) football game. He and his buddies decided they wanted me to join in on their game (I think they wanted to teach me a lesson)......Well, to their surprise, I smoked all of them in flip cup. By the end of the day, they were all in awe of the old man who could whip their butts in flip cup.
After that, I was accepted into the Flip Cup fraternity and invited to come back anytime I wanted. Several of the guys commented that they wanted to get their dad to come to the next tail-gate and have them join in on the fun.
Needless to say, I made big brownie points with the son and his drinking buddies. We had a great time.
