The whole synergy that Daimler was trying to preach always struck me as odd -- if I were a Benz loyalist, I would be pretty pissed that Benz technology was being used in much less expensive Chrysler models.
Who knows? Being owned by a private entity could show the way to the future. I know the unions aren't happy about it ... but it could actually turn out okay for Chrysler's bottom line.
