ADO questions

Gonna take the ADO from the airport for the first time. We arrive at terminal 2. Where do we go to catch the bus? I know where they are at terminal 3 , but I have never seen them from terminal 2.

Also, does anyone know which bus terminal the bus to Chiquila departs from? Can I buy tickets at either terminal? And can I buy them on Saturday for Tuesday?

hi the ado does depart from t 2, at the upper end, you have to walk way up to the other end of the terminal, that was last year anyways. ask as soon as you come out there are lots of security people around.

Exit the terminal and take a right and walk

Last time I flew into T2 via international (over a year ago) you bought the ticket at a counter just after exiting customs. You then exited, turned right and took a long walk to the other end of the terminal. You needed to show your ADO ticket to pass through a "gate" to the bus parking area. The ADO did not pick up directly in front of Terminal 2.

If you arrive T2 domestically, you simply exit into this parking lot, if memory serves me.

That said T2 appears to be going through a renovation so maybe something has changed since I did it.

An ADO ticket can be purchased right at the bus stop location inside the gate. Either at the bus stop itself or from the booth attached to the terminal. So showing a ticket to "enter the gate" is not required. You walk through the gate and tell the gate person ADO and they smile you through.

To expand on this, when you make a right to head around to term 3, you will come to a gate/passageway that looks like you have no business passing through. Go through there and it will be right around the corner.
