It's in Playacar across the street from big AI resorts. No big deal.

I hope there's a sunglass and/or watch store planned.
There is one stretch on 5th ave where we walked a solid 25ft without seeing one. It was a nightmare.

I plan to pack nothing for the next trip. Can shop everywhere in Playa for same labels I buy in the US and it will be cheaper cuz it's Mexico And I love running errands so much in the US that I can't imagine giving the activity up on vaca time.

Nope. More expensive in Mexico.

And it's 100% catered to them. It has no restaurants (just an ice cream shop, and a small coffee stand with a few snacks. Starbucks is in the next development over) and the souvenir shops are even more repetitive than 5th Ave.

It gives the AI crowd who never wants to leave the resort, a place they can experience "the real Mexico" for 25 minutes.

We bought a couple of things at H&M last year when we were over on that side of the peninsula. Prices seemed reasonable.
