The foodie pics are to die for! Forget the white sandy beaches. I could plan a trip just based on the places you've eaten.

130 pesos ... that's around $10-$12 CDN? is that the average you spend on a good meal?

Food prices vary and I will try to remember to post em up. Once you get out of the tourist zones the prices drop. On that last order there with the prawns, the food was actually about $6.50 CAD and the Cokes about $1.00 each.

I'm not sure how to save a google map as a pic on this laptop. I will try to figure it out. At the current time in the storyline I am in Jose Maria Morelos, which is about center on the Yucatan peninsula. I will list the names of the towns as I move around.

Back at the story.

Later that evening I stopped for street tacos.

Think they were 11 pesos each.

Wandered around town checking things out.
New tricycle.

They still sell tub washers here, about 212.00 CAD

They have square combo types too.

The playground has been updated but it is a hard landing on the concrete. Back home they are regulated... or over regulated.

Checking out the chicks

So I thought I should check out the chicks. Only 9 pesos each!

And then Mario called and we went to check the chicks at a different place. ( no, she is not naked... please don't ban me mods.)

So the locals call this place "la cruzera" because it is near a road crossing. Beers are 25 pesos each and it is only open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The ladies circulate and hustle you for drinks. A small drink for her is 90 pesos and she is given a token to cash in later for her share. As beam-eye has said in other places on the forum, you can touch anything you want. No kissing. Squirming around on your lap is a common thing.

I cant remember this one's name.

This one's name is Charlene and not only is she a stripper but also puts on a show singing etc.

I wont post up any of the other pics from there other than this one. You will just have to go by the place yourself.

Mario, stumbling out the door... Lool

Farms and ruins

Next day we went to see some farms and ruins.

On this goat farm the worker is cutting down the vegetation after the goats have stripped the lower branches so they can eat the tops. In this way the land is cleared.

Farm puppies.
