Since I'm sitting here at the car dealership waiting for my 10,000 mile tune up I might as well start something. Mind you, I will never finish it, but I need to do something with my time and god forbid I actually do work
Day 1 - Left for the airport at 5:15 am. Check in went smoothly and we were sitting happily in the bar by 6:15. Two double bloody mary's each, a breakfast pizza and one valium later we board our non-stop flight to Playa.
We had used miles to upgrade to first class, so we were pretty comfortable for our 6 hour flight. I dozed for a while and Kevin ordered drinks. When I woke up, he was already feeling no pain. We were still a couple of hours out of Cancun, so I figured I needed to catch up. I had a couple of glasses of wine and Kevin had more to drink. At one point I told the flight attendant that I needed to catch up with him, so she brought me a shot of tequila. (You ever hear that song tequila makes her clothes fall off?) Well, that was pretty much written for me

We land in Cancun. We get to the customs line and I decide I have to go to the bathroom. Evidently tequila also makes me invisible, because I slipped right past the customs agent and go to the bathroom. Kevin spent the next 45 minutes in the customs line looking for me only to see me waving at him from the other side of the counter. I somehow think that he wasn't thrilled with my Houdini act, but he was a good sport about it. I crossed back over the customs line and we proceeded to go through like your supposed to.
We both got the green light and we were off to get our transfer.
