Help choose resort

Family friendly all inclusive on the beach short walk to downtown PDC.

Go every year to Sandos Eco. My kids (3/9) love it. We just want something closer to downtown.

Suggestions appreciated.

I would try paradisus la esmeralda. We just stayed there on our last trip to playa when the bmp was in town, nice resort on the beach (beach isnt the nicest there but 5th ave is a 15min walk away. If you want something with a great beach pick a resort in playacar.

Iberostar Tucan/Quetzel. Great family resort. Take a look at my trip review.

We like Paradisus Esmeralda. Beach isn't the best but the facilities are very high end, food is good and great kids club. Also have a floating obstacle course, pirate ship with slides and rock climbing wall. The one bedroom suite has a separate bedroom so kids can be on pull out couch in living room.

As far as location, the Gran Porto Resort may be a nice option (family hotel). We stay at the sister resort next door, the Royal (adults only) and have been over to the Gran Porto often and it seems very nice. The beauty, only 1 block from 5th ave. Link below...

Iberostar Tucan / Quetzal

Great resort with great beach. 5 minute walk to Playacar Plaza anda 5 min cab ride into town. Star Friends make everything fun for not only teens but adults.... but that beach... wow.
