All of these resounding endorsements have helped me to make up my mind to use them for an initial stock-up. I do have a concern about subbing liquor. I love Gran Centenario Plata, and would prefer to hoof it to grab a bottle rather than have something else subbed. I wonder if there is a way to indicate "no substations" for specific items.
Also, we have a diet Dr. Pepper addict in the party, and I see there is not an option to choose that item. They told me to choose the cherry Dr. Pepper and in the comments section to be specific about switching it to Diet Dr. Pepper. Anyone done this kind of switch before. I don't want to end up with a case of Cherry Dr. Pepper.

Diet Dr. Pepper is a rarity here. Sometimes at Chedraui. Usually not.
Tell them no substitutions.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I will withhold that info fro our addict friend. No sense stressing about it. She will just have to make do with some other beverage.

when you place an order there is a comment field and you can make special requests there. We requested a cheap styrofoam cooler and they delivered it with the groceries.

Was interested to find this thread from earlier in the year (and a couple other previous mentions from the last couple of years) for this service. So essentially it works pretty well and you end up paying the store prices plus a fee of some 200 pesos or so for it (plus any tip you offer)?

Might be particularly interested in the Costco aspect...

I just signed up as well. Seems like a great option for shorter trips or when we don't rent a car...

I was also interested in this service for our stay at Pueblito Escondido in September. But then last year we just took a taxi to WalMart instead and it was not a big deal. Probably just do it again, we can never decide what we want until we actually get there anyway. Plus, the taxi rides are... interesting.
