Was reading an article (in Cooking Light magazine) about a guy who has helped the USDA revamp the food pyramid, to be more reflective of the research and understanding they now have about foods. The new food pyramid can be found here:

It offers variances based on lifestyle, and offers you a place to input what you eat for analysis. There are also tips for each food group, physical activity, eating out, etc.
