Perfect - thank you!

So regarding the beach road, I understand that doesn't go all the way north to the ruins, thanks for that info. We had driven north of rt 15 to Playa Maya beach and I believe to Zazil Kin, and I'm curious if it just ends beyond there somewhere? Some folks report walking from the ruins south to a beach club or 2, not sure if they are walking a road and then the beach or what...

Google maps shows the road continuing up to Playa Sante Fe with buses and cars parked in a lot off the road. I see folks staying at the Sante Fe take boats to view the ruins. Just curious where the road actually ends? There is one more property north of the Sante Fe beach, and it looks like the road or traffic ends there...

Driving north, past Mezzanine, then past El Paraiso, I took this pic:

A ways ahead there is a gate that blocks access to the road into the ruins. There is an actual road the whole way, just blocked by the gate (I'm just guessing that it's still the same setup as this is an old pic):

we were at playa paraiso last week - $5.00 to rent just a chair with no umbrella but we found some palm trees to stay under -- bad sea weed that day but made the best of it .

Prices on Beachclubs

There is this awesome map, that Perry and Laura Mac Farlin make, they offer reviews on all the best beach clubs, and include menu items and prices for cover or beach chairs if they charge for them.

Here is a link to them

One more question on Ziggy's, when I google that I see Ziggy's Beach about 1km north of La Zebra but no restaurant/bar identified. Is there a restaurant there called Ziggy's?
Thanks!
