Tourist visa "workarounds" are getting harder to come by. Times are changing.

I hate answers like this on a forum. Yes, it's Mexico and things change all the time. The questions keep getting asked because the information changes. Not everyone here knows everything about how to live in a foreign country. If you don't have anything helpful to add, maybe just stay silent.

Definitely agree Sarah. The original question (below) was phrased to avoid that kind of response and to elicit helpful feedback from folks who have knowledge on this, or have friends that have done it, and those responses were very helpful.

Obviously we don't want to get there on a tourist card and find out we cannot do this, so I will be contacting our lawyer with this question as well. But feedback here from anyone who has had this experience in Q Roo or is knowledgeable on the subject would be appreciated!
