Leaving Monday for honeymoon at the Lindo!
....and I'm not getting any work done right now because my mind is already there!
I've been reading this board for a long time now and thought I'd register to say hello. My fiance (wife after Saturday) and I are leaving for the IB* Lindo and will be there from May 24-31. We booked it way back in October and have been very happy to see a lot of positive reviews since it opened. We went once before in Jan. 2003 and stayed at the Riu Palace and fell in love with the area. We've even got all the details ironed out and my new mother-in-law will be staying at our house to take care of our dogs and bird. All we have to do now is get this pesky wedding out of the way so we can get on that plane! If anyone wants to see them I can post some of our pictures here when we return. Any recommendations or tips from those of you who are professional PDC-goers are welcome. |

And yes, take mucho pictures and post a nice TR for us...the IB* Lindo has received really nice reports from this forum... The wedding will go fine and before you know it you'll be on a plane! Looking forward to hearing from you on your return...Congrats again! |

best building? Depends on what you want. They are all nice. Building 51 & 52 are closest to the pool bar. The higher numbers 54-55 are closer to the restaurants, shops & lobby bar. All are quiet...no worries there. One side of all buildings face garden & adjacent property - other side faces the pools. Also...the lower end (51,52) are closest to the beach.
It doesn't really matter. You will end up walking a lot. Either to the beach or to some of the restaurants. It's a great place. Good choice. Have fun...but make sure you make it into town. |
