Canadians

How do you feel about the payout to a terrorist?

Trudeau fails again?
Good move?

10 million...no court of law.....no house of commons. Trudeau sponsored 100%

Don't like it at all, but Trudeau's answer it was cheaper to just pay him off as the continuing court fees would have topped 40 million.

40 million in court fees will be nothing compared to coming lawsuits against a weak decision.

Not crazy about it, but was cheaper than him winning 40M through the justice system, not to mention all the money that the gov't has spent and would have spent on legal fees. He may have been mistreated as a child, mainly due to his father taking him the Afghanistan and involving him in the conflict, then having his rights stepped on, but as far as I'm concerned this only warranted an apology, not a financial gain.

Do you buy that? Because I don't. All accounts I have read indicate The Vanilla Obama isn't hesitant at all to spend Canadian taxpayers' money. I hope Canadians remember this disgusting multimillion payout to a terrorist when the next elections come.

Do you think the weakness won't cost them 10 X that in the future? 20 X 30 X?

I don't believe anything a politician says!!!! It's only our money. They still get their pensions no matter what happens.

I ready addressed this in one of the political threads.

I think it sucks that he got that much money....I certainly don't think he 'deserves' that much of a pay-out by any means.

but I see it as payment for our 'justice system' not following the rule of law in how his case was handled.

The whole 'Liberals/Trudeau suck' is such petty political Liberals versus Conservatives typical bullshit.

Anything Trudeau does, the Conservatives/right wingers are going to whine about, just like anything Harper did, the Libs cried and wrung their hands. I'm sick of all of it.

Justin Trudeau To Refugees: There's "No Advantage" To Entering Canada Illegally | Zero Hedge

"Eight months.
That’s how long it took for Canadian Prime Minister and liberal hero Justin Trudeau to realize his promise to welcome all immigrants and refugees to Canada may have been a little short-sighted. After the prime minister proudly proclaimed on Twitter back in January that Canada would welcome all those fleeing “persecution and war,” the prime minister changed his tone this week when he warned refugees crossing into Canada from the US that sneaking into the country illegally wouldn't fast-track the process of granting asylum."

After last night, wonder how this drama will end. McConnell is on record questioning whether Donald can salvage his Presidency. Picking a fight with your own Senate Majority Leader is not too smart. #WorstPresidentEver
