Actually, more problems with phone and cable than electricity, water and sewage, to be honest.

Not sure if everyone here has read this, but it looks like good developments happening from peaceful protest on Holbox. From a local
"Dear Community of Holbox and Visitors,

Thanks to the union of citizens, participation on social media, communication, and word of mouth, we have managed to get the authorities to come and make the following agreements:

Immediate:
1. 19 pipes of 20 thousand litres will be provided until the water supply has been restored with a 24 hour ferry service.

Short term:
1. The superintendent of CFE will bring 3 transformers this Tuesday, 1st August 2017 for installation.

2. The construction of 2 new extraction wells to supply the island.

3. A team from CFE will be sent for two weeks to be on the island.

Medium term:
1. A citizen service office will be opened as a commitment of the state government.

2. The start of the sanitary drainage work was announced for August 21, 2017.

3. Replacement and sectorization of the conduction for drinking water supply.

Let's maintain united; tomorrow at 10am, a representative from the authorities will explain to the community the written agreement. We invite everyone to listen to the immediate, short, and medium term agreements that have been presented and join with the authorities to work together. However, we ask for you to remain alert to ensure compliance to the signed agreement. This does not change the state of emergency in which we find ourselves; we must remain alert. In the case of non-compliance, the call to action will be reactivated for Sunday, 6th August 2017. Let’s stay united.

Actually, I rarely have any problems with any of those 5 services. Maybe because I live just off AV.5? Don't know for sure but I hope that it stays that way = No problemas

The two I mention are over on this side of the highway. Only a certain amount of landlines available and no cable compay in most colonias. I am fine with Dish, though. We do have the advantage of having most of electricity lines underground so fewer electricity outages than when we lived in Centro-
