Looking for English books / novels

So I've read everything I brought. Suggestions where I can find English books or novels?

For anyone else reading this thread, that bookshop also has a large selection of books in many other languages.

If you're near 5th Ave check out Roselia's (the Chiapas indigenous clothing store) on the east (beach) side of fifth between Calles 12 and 14. Also, Hotel Rana Cansada on Av. 10, south side of the street (ask at the bar or office if you can go upstairs to check the book collection/library)

For new, more widely known books, at least, you can try the Librería Mundo bookstore in Plaza Las Americas. It's on the corner of the main thoroughfare through the plaza, right opposite the doors for Chedraui. Small but friendly and I was surprised at how many English books they had when we were in there yesterday (most of which were on the wall to the far right, after you walk in). Good section of for kids and YA stuff, too (upstairs), complete with a couple of cute tables set up with chess sets. They're on FB at

I have a bunch of English-language books that I am looking to pass on. My neighbor works at a hotel and guests leave their books when they are done, so shares them with me when she is done and I pass them along. It´s hit or miss. I have had to step outside my normal genres, but I have found some really good reads that I would have overlooked.

Let me know
