Just further diluting the original greivance, IMHO. People taking knees for all kinds of reasons now. Like it is a Halloween costume.

I guess. If you like white people co-opting a significant and serious protest movement from the African-American community. More cute than funny, I would say.

Was it the same people who were burning their Red Hats that said Make America Great Again?

Maybe those people just like to burn things.

Yes.

Just keep your politics out of football. You want to protest, make a statement...do it on your own time. Or better yet, take some of those millions you get paid and make a difference in the communities where you live or come from.

As far as I can see the only thing coming from all these protests is these players are pissing a lot of their fans off. I'm not sure what "taking a knee" is going to accomplish whether it's their "right" or not.

And while they have a right to not stand for the Anthem, I have a right to not support their nonsense.

Yep. You have that right. Now you just need to do it.

Sad to say these peaceful protests by players are met with more condemnation than protests made by White Supremacists.

For me it is personal - I stand for my best friend and brother (may be rest in peace).

I saw his children take his folded flag.

It is easy for me to turn off the TV and spend my money elsewhere.

We don't allow religion or politics in my workplace for a reason.
